About Charles Trainor
Mr. Trainor’s family arrived in Sacramento in 1852. His family was long involved in Sacramento real estate, including his grandfather, Walter E. Trainor, who, in 1911, named and founded what is now the City of Citrus Heights, and who developed numerous residential subdivisions in Sacramento after World War II for returning soldiers. Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Trainor worked as an aide to Governor Ronald Reagan, Senator Donald Grunsky and Senator Robert Nimmo in the California State Capitol, where he met his wife, Paulette. He established his real estate law practice as a sole practitioner immediately after graduating from law school and passing the bar examination. He and Paulette live in Sacramento where she maintains a business as a very successful and well-known interior designer. They have one daughter who lives with her family in the San Diego area.
